5 Things You Need To Run A Business From Your RV In Brandon, Florida

Brandon, Florida, is easily one of the most overlooked RV destinations in the country.

Outdoorsy discusses at length the large number of RV parks and campgrounds that are available in the area, from Sun N Fun RV Resort to Bush Gardens to Lazydays RV Resort to name a few.

Needless to say, if you’re a resident of Brandon and want to live in and work from an RV, there are plenty of places for you to stay in the event that you don’t want to go on a long road trip.

Hundreds of thousands if not millions of people already run businesses from their RVs and make great money, so there’s simply no reason to think that you won’t be able to as well.

But running a business from an RV will require you to have the proper supplies and equipment, and that’s what we’re going to talk about today.

Here are five things that you’ll need to run a business from your RV in Brandon, Florida:

1 - Phone

The first thing you’ll need is a phone, for sending emails and texts, making calls, or researching information when you’re away from your laptop.

2 - Laptop

Your computer is an invaluable asset for any online entrepreneurs. In addition to your laptop, you’ll also need your charger, mouse, speakers, external hard drive if necessary, larger monitors, and anything else that you want or need.

3 - Wi-Fi Router

Always have a personal Wi-Fi router in your RV for work purposes. Yes, a lot of RV parks claim to have Wi-Fi, but often the connection is weak and spotty. You also can’t be dependent on going to coffee shops or libraries each day either. Always have your own Wi-Fi router for the sake of convenience while on the road.

4 - Work Space

This is something that many new ‘RV entrepreneurs’ skip over, thinking they can just set up their computer on the RV’s kitchen table or on their lap on the sofa. This is a big mistake. It’s fine to work from your lap or the kitchen table when you want to, but you’ll need to have a dedicated work space set up as well. Install a desk in your RV if there’s one already, complete with an office chair and anything else to make you comfortable.

5 - Your Time

Last but not least, you need to set aside enough time each day to work. You can’t just work ‘when you feel like it.’ Just like running a business from your home, you need to set aside time when you decide to work from an RV. Schedule your days and manage your time appropriately.
